Reports in the press this week tell the sorry tale of how a 50-year-old artist was duped into investing \u00a312,500 of her\u00a0savings and\u00a0credit card funds with a company called Banc De Binary, who were offering instant returns of up to 60%. Clearly, if the level of returns promised sounds too good to be true, they often are, and it will perhaps come as no surprise that Mrs Forrest lost all of her money.<\/p>\n
The victim is quoted as feeling \u201chopelessly naive\u201d, however, tens of thousands of savers just like Deanne are being lured into taking huge stock market bets on what are nothing more than gambling websites.<\/p>\n
