{"id":1752,"date":"2017-03-06T14:54:08","date_gmt":"2017-03-06T14:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fpgonline.co.uk\/?p=1752"},"modified":"2023-09-19T11:02:37","modified_gmt":"2023-09-19T11:02:37","slug":"job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fpgonline.co.uk\/index.php\/job-vacancy\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy \u2013 Senior Administrator\/Junior Paraplanner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Senior Administrator\/Junior Paraplanner to join a well-established Chartered Financial Planning Practice providing a highly personalised financial planning service.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the existing team, you will be responsible for providing high quality support to the three successful Financial Planners of the business and maintaining relationships with clients.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered for the role you must;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have documented experience of working within an IFA or Wealth Management practice.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Be highly organised<\/li>\n<li>Have some or be studying towards, industry qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enjoy the opportunity to manage the day to day administration and diary of a busy IFA<\/li>\n<li>Provide high quality administration and analytical support to Financial Planners and clients<\/li>\n<li>Process new business from start to finish from arranging the initial meeting with the adviser, to placing on the system and creating client packs<\/li>\n<li>Pull together valuation reports and assist with annual file reviews, create basic suitability reports to be FCA compliant<\/li>\n<li>Assist with ad-hoc administration such as post, filing, scanning and answering basic and general enquiries<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all meeting follow-up work is completed within company timescales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mature, professional work ethic and polished demeanour<\/li>\n<li>Previous extensive experience in a similar role within a financial planning practice<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Confident and competent communication skills, verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>A strong knowledge of pensions, life &amp; protection and investments, that is visible through both your career history and qualifications e.g. RO1, CF1, FPC 1<\/li>\n<li>Previous use of Standard Life WRAP, FFN, IRESS Xplan, Voyant and Finemetrica would be useful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A competitive salary and performance related bonus is on offer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the first instance please e-mail <a href=\"mailto:Tim.Norris@fpgonline.co.uk\">Tim.Norris@fpgonline.co.uk<\/a>, along with\u00a0your CV and a covering letter.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Senior Administrator\/Junior Paraplanner to join a well-established Chartered Financial Planning Practice providing a highly personalised financial planning service.
